Is it started, or can you start it? If the PostgreSQL service is not listed at all you will need to install it again and we have a guide for that here. If that does not help then click your Windows Start button then type the following command:Īnd click on it when it appears. Did you receive confirmation that PostgreSQL v9.3 reinstalled successfully? Go to C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.3\data (although you may have it installed in another location) and delete the 'postmaster.pid' file inside that folder (not 'postmaster.opts' which may be there too), reboot your computer and try starting PokerTracker 4 again.
